Neeps and tatties allright, and a little paprika beside. If haggis can be found in Stockholm, it is expensive I think, so I’ll have “Smålands isterband” which is somewhat similar but milder.

The Burns Check was created for the Robert Burns 200 years celebration in 1959. In 2007 I bought the tie at Burns House in Dumfries.

Tartan is popular all over the world. This tie from the sixties is made in Sweden. Cheers!

There will not be much time for supper, because I have choir practice tonight. A toast at some pub afterwards will do!

All Scots and all friends of poetry celebrate!

haggis

Haggis is hard to find in Sweden, Smålands Isterband will do. Danish beer – no Tennents in Sweden! The neeps and tatties are there all right. The paprika is like a red, red rose.
